Hi You can try "The Animator's Survival Kit" written by Richard Williams. This guy gives you techniques, theories on motion and the history of animation. He himself is a legend. There is also a dvd set you can purchase (or dl by..other means...) that has the same name.

Hey Muriel, Honestly, I think your character looks like the 4th hokage. If I were you, I'd branch away from Kishimoto's drawing style and try to invent your own. I know it's easier said than done but you'll need to have your own identity in your original characters or else people will will just see Naruto when they see your work. I wish you good luck
